"In 2014, we were a start-up business requiring a computerised program to manage our accounts and daily transaction processing, along with payroll to pay our staff. Our accountant referred us to Linda Melhuish at BizQuip who advised that Xero would be ideal to handle the accounting side and iPayroll for paying our staff.
With Linda’s help, the two programs were implemented, and it’s been plain sailing since then. We don’t have to think about paying our staff with the auto confirm function in iPayroll, we only need to make changes when there is leave or public holidays. Paying the monthly PAYE to IRD is dealt with by iPayroll. 
Linda provides support as required, which is very occasional. Both Xero and iPayroll are super easy to use and if anything needs checking out, both Linda and our accountant have access to view the data.
We are really happy with our decision to take Linda’s advice on both these programs."

Support as we've needed it

"When it came time to hire our very first staff member, the ideal of payroll and PAYE compliance was daunting. We implemented iPayroll to make this as simple and pain-free as possible. Linda from BizQuip did the implementation and has provided ongoing training and support as we’ve needed it.
When we first implemented iPayroll, I was running the payroll myself as well as managing the business and doing client work. iPayroll allowed me to do the payroll anywhere, anytime. In fact, after the February 2011 earthquakes, I even ran the payroll from my iPhone, when the power and internet was out. Once I did my bit, iPayroll automatically paid the team, filed the monthly returns with Inland Revenue and paid the taxes and other deductions. There was no need to remember filling or payment dates and no risk of late fees if these were overlooked. As the business has grown, iPayroll was a doddle to teach our admin staff to manage. More than seven years on, we still love iPayroll and its simplicity - we wouldn’t use any other payroll."

The process was painless

"We implemented Xero, Receipt Bank and iPayroll in preparation for the 2017 financial year. After two years of procrastinating and talking to others who were already using Xero, we finally decided to fully upgrade all our software to “The Cloud”.
The process was painless and the efficiencies we gained through automation were outstanding. Following the resignation of our full-time administration person, we didn’t need to recruit a replacement. Receipt Bank managed the processing of accounts to pay with scanning functionality providing hands-free processing into Xero. All we had to do was check the information.
Processing the weekly payroll using iPayroll was quick and easy with the ability to do this anywhere there was internet access. Our builders were paid and the monthly IRD filings and payments happened without us having to do anything.
Xero reconciling of bank transactions is also very easy and can be done anywhere there is access to internet. There is no need to go into the office to do any of these tasks now.
This is one of the best business decisions we have made. BizQuip now visit us annually for a review and tidy up of the accounts before sending to our accountant for completing year end requirements. No more backing up and taking a pen drive to the accountant as they have access online too.
We highly recommend the move to “The Cloud” and BizQuip is there to assist us with any queries along the way."
